Amicus Curiae, 1957

Amicus Curiae, 1957

Nota Bene and its predecessors, The Advocate, and Amicus Curiae, were the student-run newspapers of the law school, providing students and faculty with news, features and editorials about and of interest to members of the law school community.

Amicus Curiae was founded in 1952 by the Student Bar Association, but was shuttered due to budgetary constraints in 1968. The Advocate took its place in the autumn of 1969. In 1996, the newspaper chose to rebrand as Nota Bene. Nota Bene was available in print through 2015. In 2017, The Nota Bene website was created as a continuation of the print source.
